(1-25 of 27)Bizzabo Blazes Ahead of Other Hybrid Event Software
- Virtual Streaming - The virtual setting for our hybrid events is great! Virtual attendees can comment, ask questions, and create an online community. Recordings of sessions are ready quickly as well.
- Registration Setup - The customization options for registration works extremely well for our organization! During our annual conferences, we expect a diverse group of attendees such as clients, our franchisees, and Enterprise Sales VPs. With Bizzabo, we're able to customize registration options making that part of the process seamless.
- Agenda Customization - With our events, we offer not only main sessions, but also different tracks based on role/business goals. Bizzabo allows us to build agendas that make sense for our audience and help us internally analyze what sessions are getting the most traction.
- Bizzabo Mobile App - The mobile app is outstanding! It eliminates our need to print thousands of copies of our event agenda and gives attendees access to updates in real-time. We also use it to communicate promotions, announcements, and reminders, making communication with attendees super efficient.
- Onsite Equipment - When we are in-person for our events each year, we always encounter issues with our onsite equipment (WiFi routers, printers, and iPads). At least one piece of the equipment has always been broken and it makes our jobs super difficult - Either making it so we can't use that piece altogether or forcing us to consolidate equipment down for a large volume of check-ins.
- Equipment Support - When we've been onsite and encountered issues with the Bizzabo equipment, it is nearly impossible to get any support or help. We have tried multiple chats, support phone numbers, and ticket submissions, but none have ever resulted in a good experience or solving for the issues.
- Registrations Under One Name - In our business, we frequently have cases where one person registers for a group of attendees. However, when they arrive onsite at check-in - The group members cannot find their names - They are all listed under the one person's name who completed registration. There has to be a better way to fix this part of the process!
Fine for basics, not the most user-friendly tool
- Bizzabo has a good reporting dashboard that made things simple
- Bizzabo makes it easy to share access within our teams
- Bizzabo has a relatively clean UI
- I feel that customer relations were not particularly great. Slow response times and not very helpful when we did get in contact.
- Although UI is clean, functionality was a bit clunky.
- Limitations within asset creation were frustrating and time-consuming when building out events.
In my opinion, Not User Friendly
- Visually impressive registration pages
- Live attendance updates
- Example photos of where information will be displayed
- ability to download all registration confirmations as back-up
- Save profile information in relation to the email address - I've had to fix the same participants throughout different events
- Simplify the process to swap tickets and make the option easier to find
Bizzabo
- Scheduling client meetings
- Easy to set up and create the page
- Able to access worldwide
- Multi-language function without creating two different URL
- Setting up meeting in multi language function (last time when I created both English and Japanese event pages, it wasn't liking together so the same time slots were open both English and Japanese site, which confused clients.
- New function to link the Bizzabo page to the sponsored event page
When clients all over the world can set up a meeting with us online and once the time slot is taken, it automatically closes another meeting request.
It is less appropriate when we need the event page with meeting setup function in multi languages.
As I mentioned earlier, as long as the multi language pages links each other, timeslots for the meeting set up doubled or tripled which may lead to double/triple bookings.

Bring back event marketing with Bizzabo!
- Ability to set up numerous types of tickets
- Provides easy to easy templated pages for the event website
- Full integration with Android / Apple event app
- Customized pages on the even website can be tricky to use, not super intuitive
- Bring back the chat option for live support
Best event registrations capturing tool
- It was great to use this platform for an offline conference event we recently held in Singapore. Even one of the audience member asked about the platform we used to capture audience attendance.
- We also used Bizzabo for one of our webinar held in the past and the kind of customisations we did were totally beyond our expectations. The Bizzabo customer support team is really quick and prompt with resolving all our queries.
- We held a couple of more webinars where we we added Bizzabo landing page as the registrantion link for the audience. The report triggering feature in Bizzabo made it quite easy for our stakeholders to track the number of people who registered for the webinar and helped them set the expectitions right.
- In the beginning it was a bit tricky to navigate through the features available to us but slowly and gradually we figured it out.
- The customer support team sometimes take some time to get back with a response on some urgent request so I think that could be worked on.
- Sometimes, it take a bit of time for the changes to update on the actual landing page
Great Data Management, Limited Design
- Easy virtual event streaming
- Streamlining event registrations across your CRM platforms
- Limited design aspects in their landing page builder function
- Platform support is delayed and often not helpful
High Hopes and Lackluster Results.
- Registration.
- Agenda Planning.
- Data Recording.
- Check-In.
- Support
- Issue Resolution.
- New Streaming Offering.
Decent Software, Look Elsewhere for Something More Robust
- Customizable landing pages
- Takes payments through Stripe
- Easily pull attendee reports
- Difficult to join a session as an admin
- More integrations
- Navigation overall could be improved
Marketing Manager
- Customization
- Logic
- Easy to use
- Sometimes it takes awhile to load
- I'd like more widget options
A Solid Platform With A Good Streaming Solution
- Offers different streaming solutions
- Easy to customize your event website
- Dedicated customer service manager
- We have cookie issues where some of our clients have problems using the platform
- Many speakers don't receive the forgot password email to reset their email and there is no other way for them to do it
- Occasionally run into latency issues
Bizzabo: All Smoke and Mirrors
- Sales. The sales process was done extremely well, and was the only thing that Bizzabo does well.
- Learning Resources. During the sales process, it is made very clear that once you sign a contract, you will have endless resources available to you for self-learning. The links to these tools were broken or outdated. Bizzabo completes so many updates to their platform but doesn't update the learning pages to reflect. You are sent an Excel spreadsheet with a checklist of items to work your way through and links are given, but the majority of the links were broken. The learning videos were very high-level. The online resources that didn't have the links broken, were more like blog posts followed by user comments.
- Support Management. I had weekly and then bi-weekly calls with our support account manager to help our team learn the basics of using Bizzabo. These were more of a sales call where Bizzabo was continually trying to upsell us or ask us how they can support us with more events in the future. I repeatedly kept telling our support manager that we don't need support for in-person events, yet each week was another opportunity for Bizzabo to ask us how they can support us for in-person events.
- Transparency. During the sales process and practice demos, Bizzabo came across very clear that the platform was easy to use and very user friendly. Consider it like this; you purchase a Ford but it has Ferrari parts and the instructions are in Italian.
- Sales Process. In my opinion, very in your face about signing a contract. Bizzabo will email you non-stop until they get a signed contract.
Buzz over to Bizzabo for Business
- There are a lot of customizable features
- They have wonderful customer service
- When the report system does work, these are extremely helpful
- They give you the ability to host sessions in the platform or embed a Zoom link
- Our attendees complained about having to login every time to view content
- You cannot be in the system working on the backend while a colleague is. We have found that the work doesn't save.
- The email system is hard to format within Bizzabo
- Staff would sometimes get kicked out of interact rooms. It would be nice to add virtual backgrounds in this space.
- Reports were missing data and it took two weeks to get corrected
- When recording a session, you have to go back and download it, and then upload it. This process should be easier.
My biggest compliment is that you can build out your own conference pages and customize them to fit your needs. I have worked with a company before who I would have to send these updates to and then wait for them to complete. It is wonderful to be able to go into the system and do it myself.
A Smaller yet feisty workhorse that is worth a second look.
- Terrific Implementation Services
- Intuitive Web Interface for Events Setup and Analytics
- Fast Mobile App for on-site attendee usage
- APIs and Documentation
- Customer Service isn't knowledgable enough at times
- Customer Services "rushes", either via automation or manual usage, to Close tickets
- At times, the platform becomes unresponsive without a status page to refer to for updates
- The User interface and speed of the Onsite Command App Session Scanning is slow to respond and requires a significant increase in bandwidth on site.
Bizzabo Onsite Services can be tricky if you a) haven't done it before or b) lack the onsite technical resources to assist. Bizzabo's Session Scanning speed is significantly slower than competitors so you must have more scanners available.
Bizzabo for Events
Some main problems Bizzabo has solved:
- Alleviated the bottle-neck between our web team and events team for creating and updating the landing pages
- Smooth speaker and sponsor portals so repeat speakers and sponsors don't have to submit their assets multiple times
- Easy mobile app to make automatic updates to
- Easy to read analytics
- Notifications and updates about your event and how its progressing
- Super easy on the attendee end
- Editing the landing pages can be a little difficult - lots of back and forth
- Free vs paid registration features - there are some features where its either one or the other (session registration) that I wish was available for both types
- Issues with Marketo integration
Less Appropriate: Booking meetings - we tried to use Bizzabo to book meetings for an event and it just turned into a mess. Pulling reports was like pulling teeth and was a VERY manual process to see who was signing up for what time
Solid platform, with a good website builder
- Website builder
- Customer support and success
- Virtual event platform
- Speed of setup
- Some projected advances in the roadmap are frequently delayed
- Downtimes and technical difficulties
- Reporting difficulties
- Data integration is fairly basic
Great for small events. Enterprise-sized companies, tread lightly!
That said, we didn't find Bizzabo's service to be robust enough or stable enough for our needs as an enterprise-sized company with very specific compliance and user experience requirements. After two years, we will be moving to another vendor.
- Intuitive platform back-end
- Great staff
- Events can be built quickly
- Platform stability
- Focus seems to be on front-end (appearance) instead of back-end (functionality)
- Some essential features require plugins (data events, payment processing, gamification, etc.)
In a larger company with more complex registration flows and a need for detailed options on the back end, the platform might still be too immature. One of the biggest problems we faced with Bizzabo was the inability to translate system messages and some of the interface labels/buttons into local languages and the inability to offer a multi-lingual experience natively in the platform.
Empowers Non-Marketers with Event Management - Great All in One - But Teams Streams Better.
- Top-Notch, Engaged Support and Partnership.
- Lowers skill barrier to event logistics and marketing.
- All-in-on solution.
- Pleasing templates.
- Integration with Teams / Teams Webinar.
- The ability to customer calendar invites. Multi-day events fill the calendar morning till night from start to finish.
- Easier access to speaker/moderator tools. Access to live sessions as a speaker right from the agenda page.
- The ability to have multiple agenda items go to a single stream or to automatically push users from one agenda stream to the next for each session.
Providing Great Virtual Events with Bizzabo.
- Branding
- Attendee Community.
- Live Sessions.
- Easier to view event and session analytics.
- Deeper agenda customization.
Powerful tool that's constantly upgrading to meet the needs of a virtual & hybrid event world
- Constant product updates
- Integrates with Marketo - pretty flexible too
- Engagement within the virtual event (speaker Q&A, reactions, networking opps with other attendees, and more)
- The amount of data they provide is amazing
- The new attendee venue is a little confusing for attendees
- The backend can be difficult to navigate at first sight
- Virtual networking between attendees - they're still working on improving this though!
Great Platform for a Good Price
- Customer Service: they have a very helpful client services and support team.
- Making product updates based on needs and feedback
- The registration process is smooth
- Sponsor profiles/virtual booths
- There are not always a lot of adaptabilities
- Not being able to track who clicks onto a sponsor's website from their partner listing
A Trusty Event Buddy
- Flexible
- Scalable
- Cost effective for large scaling
- An appointment feature with a calendar for the community feature
- Allowing video player embed code instead of embedding entire widget (limits the styling)
- Manage multiple sessions at once
- Present in high-quality video
- Allow for the coordination of more than one event at a time
- Provide virtual support the day of the event
- It is difficult for users to toggle between sessions
- It is not always easy for the user to sign-in
- The buttons from the admin side can be confusing during a session
Bizzabo is for event nerds!
- Clean UI for users
- integrations with other tools (SFDC)
- plug and play widgets and learning. I was able to teach myself the tool relatively quickly
- promo codes are easy to set up and use
- Missing add-on tickets like training. this is key and many organizations use add-on ticket types. this needs to be added asap so that it's a seamless and easy process for event pros to set up within their registration instance.
- We need more dashboards and reporting, or more detail around payments. I feel like this is a bit of a gray area and isn't as easy to dig into as it should be.
- group pricing functionality could be built out more
- build a community! bizzabo doesn't seem to value the community of its users or training. I would advise setting up training for users with their CSM or classes. you are kinda just left on your own to figure it out with very little guidance.
