Within our organization, we use Bizzabo for our New Customer Trial Programs as well as our annual conferences, which have adopted a hybrid format ever since the Pandemic. With Bizzabo, we are able to run in-person and virtual events, delivering a memorable experience where every attendee can engage and take away key learnings.
  • Virtual Streaming - The virtual setting for our hybrid events is great! Virtual attendees can comment, ask questions, and create an online community. Recordings of sessions are ready quickly as well.
  • Registration Setup - The customization options for registration works extremely well for our organization! During our annual conferences, we expect a diverse group of attendees such as clients, our franchisees, and Enterprise Sales VPs. With Bizzabo, we're able to customize registration options making that part of the process seamless.
  • Agenda Customization - With our events, we offer not only main sessions, but also different tracks based on role/business goals. Bizzabo allows us to build agendas that make sense for our audience and help us internally analyze what sessions are getting the most traction.
  • Bizzabo Mobile App - The mobile app is outstanding! It eliminates our need to print thousands of copies of our event agenda and gives attendees access to updates in real-time. We also use it to communicate promotions, announcements, and reminders, making communication with attendees super efficient.
  • Onsite Equipment - When we are in-person for our events each year, we always encounter issues with our onsite equipment (WiFi routers, printers, and iPads). At least one piece of the equipment has always been broken and it makes our jobs super difficult - Either making it so we can't use that piece altogether or forcing us to consolidate equipment down for a large volume of check-ins.
  • Equipment Support - When we've been onsite and encountered issues with the Bizzabo equipment, it is nearly impossible to get any support or help. We have tried multiple chats, support phone numbers, and ticket submissions, but none have ever resulted in a good experience or solving for the issues.
  • Registrations Under One Name - In our business, we frequently have cases where one person registers for a group of attendees. However, when they arrive onsite at check-in - The group members cannot find their names - They are all listed under the one person's name who completed registration. There has to be a better way to fix this part of the process!
Bizzabo is really well suited for large-scale hybrid events. In this day and age, it's imperative to have a software that can successfully accommodate virtual and in-person attendees. Bizzabo blends these experiences extremely well. It is also great when event agendas are complex and need customizations - Bizzabo offers flexibility and has options for tracking session attendance. Bizzabo does not work well for smaller events with in-person only registrations. The risk of the equipment not working is high and, for smaller events, not worth the stress!

We used Bizzabo for hosting event registrations as well as webinar registrations - mostly for single session webinars and things like happy hours or dinners - as well as all of the email engagement features minus sending event/webinar invites. We run 40-50 webinars a year and about the same amount of events. We need a tool that can build out events and webinars efficiently, share data amongst a large team, and provide data that helps us to make better decisions in the future.
  • Bizzabo has a good reporting dashboard that made things simple
  • Bizzabo makes it easy to share access within our teams
  • Bizzabo has a relatively clean UI
  • I feel that customer relations were not particularly great. Slow response times and not very helpful when we did get in contact.
  • Although UI is clean, functionality was a bit clunky.
  • Limitations within asset creation were frustrating and time-consuming when building out events.
My biggest frustration with Bizzabo is how time-intensive it is to set up events and add all necessary details. There is not an easy way to my knowledge to use dynamic data to fill in landing pages, registration, emails, etc. and as a result creating events is time-consuming and very monotonous in my experience.

In my opinion, it's a very tedious process with too much flexibility in setting up registration pages. We need more of a uniform process in our organization. In my opinion, it's not back-end friendly for billing purposes. We require back-up in invoice billing, forcing us to click into each registration to email ourselves the confirmations. I think the steps are also unclear in where the information we're putting in will be displayed on the user end. In my experience, it's been nothing but trial and error learning.
  • Visually impressive registration pages
  • Live attendance updates
  • Example photos of where information will be displayed
  • ability to download all registration confirmations as back-up
  • Save profile information in relation to the email address - I've had to fix the same participants throughout different events
  • Simplify the process to swap tickets and make the option easier to find
In my opinion, the set-up is so overcomplicated and many options are hidden unless you're going down and clicking one-by-one on the tool menu. For our organization, we need a tighter process that requires similar formatting and tools. There's multiple areas where I can enter notes for the registering participant but it's unclear where those notes are going to be displayed.

We use our Bizzabo account to introduce our speakers and meeting participants, and to provide introductions about the content of their talks when we attend third party conferences or sponsored events. Bizzabo also helps us schedule our 1 on 1 meeting with our clients globally so that clients can sign up from the site whenever they want.
  • Scheduling client meetings
  • Easy to set up and create the page
  • Able to access worldwide
  • Multi-language function without creating two different URL
  • Setting up meeting in multi language function (last time when I created both English and Japanese event pages, it wasn't liking together so the same time slots were open both English and Japanese site, which confused clients.
  • New function to link the Bizzabo page to the sponsored event page
It is appropriate for the event situation.
When clients all over the world can set up a meeting with us online and once the time slot is taken, it automatically closes another meeting request.
It is less appropriate when we need the event page with meeting setup function in multi languages.
As I mentioned earlier, as long as the multi language pages links each other, timeslots for the meeting set up doubled or tripled which may lead to double/triple bookings.

I leveraged Bizzabo as a platform to collect and manage customer submissions to our annual awards program. Bizzabo successfully provided us with 9 separate forms under one master web page which allowed our users to seamlessly submit awards submissions to multiple categories and allowed me to be able to quickly download review and manipulate the data submitted on the back end.
  • backend reporting
  • up time
  • data manipulation
  • UX
  • customer support
Overall, Bizzabo gets the job done for what I historically needed it to do, which is provide our customers with an easily accessible form to upload responses and media for our awards program. Overall, I'd have no hesitations to recommend a peer to evaluate Bizzabo for their needs since the platform has never let me down, but I will say there are some limitations to their tech stack and flexibility which would prompt me to recommend they compare it to other available options.

We host numerous in-person events for our customer base. These events can range from 20 - 300 people and we use Bizzabo for the event platform and registration website. We also use Bizzabo internally for our company events. We've used the online / virtual platform for when we do not have the budget for an in-person event. We also use the app for our events.
  • Ability to set up numerous types of tickets
  • Provides easy to easy templated pages for the event website
  • Full integration with Android / Apple event app
  • Customized pages on the even website can be tricky to use, not super intuitive
  • Bring back the chat option for live support
I have used other event platforms and their event setup is very complicated. Bizzabo's dashboard really helps guide you through all parts of the event creation and the different settings. It works well for our events where we have to have different types of registration based upon different products the customer uses so we can easily segregate the attendees appropriately.

We generally use Bizzabo to create our event landing pages in order to capture the registrations (both offline and online events). The customisations and the ease of use it has is really commendable. It gives a lot more variety to move around different elements and allows us to fit them in a suitable place where it'd look good for the audience.
  • It was great to use this platform for an offline conference event we recently held in Singapore. Even one of the audience member asked about the platform we used to capture audience attendance.
  • We also used Bizzabo for one of our webinar held in the past and the kind of customisations we did were totally beyond our expectations. The Bizzabo customer support team is really quick and prompt with resolving all our queries.
  • We held a couple of more webinars where we we added Bizzabo landing page as the registrantion link for the audience. The report triggering feature in Bizzabo made it quite easy for our stakeholders to track the number of people who registered for the webinar and helped them set the expectitions right.
  • In the beginning it was a bit tricky to navigate through the features available to us but slowly and gradually we figured it out.
  • The customer support team sometimes take some time to get back with a response on some urgent request so I think that could be worked on.
  • Sometimes, it take a bit of time for the changes to update on the actual landing page
We have used Bizzabo in quite a few event and conference now. It's a great tool and captures everything smoothly. We have heard good review about this tool from the users as well. Earlier we were using ON24 platform to capture the registration details but that kind of lags a bit and the user experience wasn't that welll.

We use Bizzabo to host our larger company events across several teams. It provides a solution for us to host hybrid events, while supporting the in person platform logistics.
  • Easy virtual event streaming
  • Streamlining event registrations across your CRM platforms
  • Limited design aspects in their landing page builder function
  • Platform support is delayed and often not helpful
If you're looking to host a straightforward virtual event and want a way to track the event registration and attendance metrics directly with your CRM platform. Bizzabo is an easy method to organize from end to end.

Bizzabo is the organizational event software tool we use for hybrid, in-person, and virtual events. This tool oversees our registration, streaming for virtual/hybrid events, and check-in process. It is our one-stop shop for event attendees so they can access the agenda, FAQ, and community page to network with other event attendees.
  • Registration.
  • Agenda Planning.
  • Data Recording.
  • Check-In.
  • Support
  • Issue Resolution.
  • New Streaming Offering.
We enjoy using Bizzabo for multi-day conferences that are in-person or virtual. The attendees are usually in Bizzabo a few months prior, so they get to understand the tool better and become acquainted with where things are located. In-person people like using the app to keep track of session rooms.

We use Bizzabo for hosting webinars primarily and for some in person events. We use it to host our registrations as well as event landing pages.
  • Customizable landing pages
  • Takes payments through Stripe
  • Easily pull attendee reports
  • Difficult to join a session as an admin
  • More integrations
  • Navigation overall could be improved
It is well suited for large webinars and large sessions during conferences. I would not recommend it for fireside chats and more intimate sessions.

We use it for both small and larger events when we want a personalized landing page and a more in depth registration process. It also allows us to use promo codes for our partners and high value prospects. We like the amount of customization that it provides along with the event emails.
  • Customization
  • Logic
  • Easy to use
  • Sometimes it takes awhile to load
  • I'd like more widget options
If you're holding a large event, I highly recommend Bizzabo. It's also a great tool to use if you want to scale fast as it doesn't require you to leverage your Operations and/or Development team for landing page creation as it's very user friendly.

We are an event management company and use the platform to host virtual and hybrid events. The platform allows us to stream live or pre-recorded sessions to attendees. You can also purchase their on-site solution to check attendees in and print badges.
  • Offers different streaming solutions
  • Easy to customize your event website
  • Dedicated customer service manager
  • We have cookie issues where some of our clients have problems using the platform
  • Many speakers don't receive the forgot password email to reset their email and there is no other way for them to do it
  • Occasionally run into latency issues
It's a great platform for delivering content and streaming services. It's very easy to create custom website pages for your event without coding knowledge. However, it is very limited if you have exhibitors.

Bizzabo was meant to be used as a holistic online tool within our organization for event registration, email confirmations, virtual events platform, and online event page. We did not have a tool like this previously and were using many different tools for event registration, event confirmations, and virtual events. Bizzabo seemed to provide an easy solution to our event challenges.
  • Sales. The sales process was done extremely well, and was the only thing that Bizzabo does well.
  • Learning Resources. During the sales process, it is made very clear that once you sign a contract, you will have endless resources available to you for self-learning. The links to these tools were broken or outdated. Bizzabo completes so many updates to their platform but doesn't update the learning pages to reflect. You are sent an Excel spreadsheet with a checklist of items to work your way through and links are given, but the majority of the links were broken. The learning videos were very high-level. The online resources that didn't have the links broken, were more like blog posts followed by user comments.
  • Support Management. I had weekly and then bi-weekly calls with our support account manager to help our team learn the basics of using Bizzabo. These were more of a sales call where Bizzabo was continually trying to upsell us or ask us how they can support us with more events in the future. I repeatedly kept telling our support manager that we don't need support for in-person events, yet each week was another opportunity for Bizzabo to ask us how they can support us for in-person events.
  • Transparency. During the sales process and practice demos, Bizzabo came across very clear that the platform was easy to use and very user friendly. Consider it like this; you purchase a Ford but it has Ferrari parts and the instructions are in Italian.
  • Sales Process. In my opinion, very in your face about signing a contract. Bizzabo will email you non-stop until they get a signed contract.

Our association uses Bizzabo to host our virtual conferences and has been doing so for nearly 3 years. I joined the association during our first contract and then renewed with Bizzabo for another year. There are many benefits to hosting events with Bizzabo, including copying previous events, pulling analytics, having an app, and building out the platform. Our recent annual conference hosted over 40 OnDemand sessions, 16 exhibitors, 3 live keynotes, and 12 live Q&A sessions with speakers.
  • There are a lot of customizable features
  • They have wonderful customer service
  • When the report system does work, these are extremely helpful
  • They give you the ability to host sessions in the platform or embed a Zoom link
  • Our attendees complained about having to login every time to view content
  • You cannot be in the system working on the backend while a colleague is. We have found that the work doesn't save.
  • The email system is hard to format within Bizzabo
  • Staff would sometimes get kicked out of interact rooms. It would be nice to add virtual backgrounds in this space.
  • Reports were missing data and it took two weeks to get corrected
  • When recording a session, you have to go back and download it, and then upload it. This process should be easier.
Overall, I would recommend Bizzabo to a colleague. It has many of the needs required to host an event. It still has room to grow, thus why I didn't provide a higher rating.

My biggest compliment is that you can build out your own conference pages and customize them to fit your needs. I have worked with a company before who I would have to send these updates to and then wait for them to complete. It is wonderful to be able to go into the system and do it myself.

We currently use Bizzabo to Offer a Mobile App, Polling, Agenda Management, Community and chat services, as well as Online Services and Lead Tracking. It allows us to offer a unified platform for events management and registration and connects to our CRM through API
  • Terrific Implementation Services
  • Intuitive Web Interface for Events Setup and Analytics
  • Fast Mobile App for on-site attendee usage
  • APIs and Documentation
  • Customer Service isn't knowledgable enough at times
  • Customer Services "rushes", either via automation or manual usage, to Close tickets
  • At times, the platform becomes unresponsive without a status page to refer to for updates
  • The User interface and speed of the Onsite Command App Session Scanning is slow to respond and requires a significant increase in bandwidth on site.
Bizzabo is well suited for offering a single-source platform. They are also suited well for spinning up resources that might not have the technical expertise normally needed for Events Management. We highly recommend the Onsite Services Representative be added to your contract for larger Conferences.

Bizzabo Onsite Services can be tricky if you a) haven't done it before or b) lack the onsite technical resources to assist. Bizzabo's Session Scanning speed is significantly slower than competitors so you must have more scanners available.

We use Bizzabo for event registration and management for events large and small.
Some main problems Bizzabo has solved:
- Alleviated the bottle-neck between our web team and events team for creating and updating the landing pages
- Smooth speaker and sponsor portals so repeat speakers and sponsors don't have to submit their assets multiple times
- Easy mobile app to make automatic updates to
  • Easy to read analytics
  • Notifications and updates about your event and how its progressing
  • Super easy on the attendee end
  • Editing the landing pages can be a little difficult - lots of back and forth
  • Free vs paid registration features - there are some features where its either one or the other (session registration) that I wish was available for both types
  • Issues with Marketo integration
Well Suited: Their registration feature is great. Easy to use on both ends and we were able to iFrame the form into our own web page which a lot of other systems don't allow.

Less Appropriate: Booking meetings - we tried to use Bizzabo to book meetings for an event and it just turned into a mess. Pulling reports was like pulling teeth and was a VERY manual process to see who was signing up for what time

We use Bizzabo for event registration and virtual events as a platform. We run physical and virtual events ranging from 10 attendees to 8000+ attendees across all kinds of events such as virtual roundtables and meetings, customer events, partner events, roadshows, and a yearly flagship event. Bizzabo is used for the event website, registration process, and the vast majority of event communications (most event invitations are done from our marketing automation solution). We use Bizzabo for anything from simple ticketing and RSVPing for an event to using it as a platform for all of our event communications and additionally as the full event platform for virtual events. For physical events, or the physical portion of any hybrid events, we use Bizzabo to build out the event website, agenda, and the open API or the reporting capabilities to work with any onsite badging solutions.
  • Website builder
  • Customer support and success
  • Virtual event platform
  • Speed of setup
  • Some projected advances in the roadmap are frequently delayed
  • Downtimes and technical difficulties
  • Reporting difficulties
  • Data integration is fairly basic
For setting up a simple one-page event site, Bizzabo is very quick to use and has a site up and running. It can also handle more complex and versatile multi-page event sites and complicated registration processes. The website builder is very easy to use and does produce a flashy-looking website with limited technical know-how required, and it can be extended further with custom CSS and JavaScript, which makes it very versatile indeed. Customer Support is always quick to respond and assist. It is slightly less suited to running events such as webinars, as although it has the capability, from a simple web page builder and registration process, we have experienced attendees with difficulty joining virtual sessions due to security settings or other problems which hasn't been the case with other solutions we have used. It is also expensive as a webinar platform as the cost per registration can quickly add up for on-demand viewings, and other solutions do not have a cost for this.

We purchased Bizzabo during the Covid pandemic because of an immediate need to pivot to virtual events. The product provided an adequate experience for the vast majority of our smaller events. The platform is undoubtedly an upgrade from simply putting on webinars.

That said, we didn't find Bizzabo's service to be robust enough or stable enough for our needs as an enterprise-sized company with very specific compliance and user experience requirements. After two years, we will be moving to another vendor.
  • Intuitive platform back-end
  • Great staff
  • Events can be built quickly
  • Platform stability
  • Focus seems to be on front-end (appearance) instead of back-end (functionality)
  • Some essential features require plugins (data events, payment processing, gamification, etc.)
If I were running events tech for a small or medium-sized business, I'd strongly consider Bizzabo. In a fast-moving company with a regular schedule of small events, I truly think Bizzabo would shine.

In a larger company with more complex registration flows and a need for detailed options on the back end, the platform might still be too immature. One of the biggest problems we faced with Bizzabo was the inability to translate system messages and some of the interface labels/buttons into local languages and the inability to offer a multi-lingual experience natively in the platform.

Seco Tools Uses Bizzabo to manage both virtual and physical events. We use it to stream our events, provide on-demand access to recordings after the fact, as well as general event organization. The biggest need the platform meets for us is the ability to integrate and implement event planning and management without needing email marketing or web development skills. It's been great to be able to hand ownership of different elements of Bizzabo to those responsible for the event. And the event planners have appreciated being able to automate elements, such as registration invites and reminders, that they've tracked manually in the past.
  • Top-Notch, Engaged Support and Partnership.
  • Lowers skill barrier to event logistics and marketing.
  • All-in-on solution.
  • Pleasing templates.
  • Integration with Teams / Teams Webinar.
  • The ability to customer calendar invites. Multi-day events fill the calendar morning till night from start to finish.
  • Easier access to speaker/moderator tools. Access to live sessions as a speaker right from the agenda page.
  • The ability to have multiple agenda items go to a single stream or to automatically push users from one agenda stream to the next for each session.
Bizzabo is great for hybrid events. Or for virtual events with totally separate sessions. It's less of a fit for virtual events that have multiple agenda items but ideally one stream. Bizzabo is not great for speakers that are not technically savvy. Sometimes the video stream functionality has required troubleshooting or hasn't worked if the speaker just left a Microsoft Teams meeting. Bizzabo is great for giving ownership to event planners, email communications, and the website. With relatively little training, it's easy to get them to create or update emails and pages from existing templates. The ability to manage tickets, registrants and emails in one platform is wonderful as well.

We are an events company. In addition, to live events, we provide virtual event services. Bizzabo acts as a virtual platform for us that we provide as a service to our clients. We will build out the virtual platform on Bizzabo and run pre-recorded or live sessions on this platform. Typically we will stream the sessions directly through Bizzabo's player, or we will use its integrations with Vimeo or other streaming solutions. We use all features, including the agenda, sponsors, community page, etc., to create a well-rounded, immersive experience for attendees.
  • Branding
  • Attendee Community.
  • Live Sessions.
  • Easier to view event and session analytics.
  • Deeper agenda customization.
Bizzabo has worked very well as an all-around virtual platform for corporate events and association conferences. For events that incorporate live sessions, pre-recorded sessions, and different ticket types with different levels of access, Bizzabo is a great solution. If you need a platform that requires gamification, Bizzabo doesn't have any built-in features for this, nor does it integrate easily with third-party gamification solutions.

Bizzabo helped us create virtual events during the early phases of covid-19. It was a tool for us to Livestream thought leadership while also capturing attendee data. It would've been way too difficult to host a 5-day virtual event over Zoom, and the other tool we had used captured only live viewer count, nothing specific. So we knew we wanted a place to host the virtual content (both live, simulive, and on-demand) and make it easy for us to analyze the performance. The other key items we looked for were a tool that integrated with Marketo, speaker engagement, networking capabilities amongst attendees, sponsorship opportunities, and an easy transition to implement the software within a couple of months.
  • Constant product updates
  • Integrates with Marketo - pretty flexible too
  • Engagement within the virtual event (speaker Q&A, reactions, networking opps with other attendees, and more)
  • The amount of data they provide is amazing
  • The new attendee venue is a little confusing for attendees
  • The backend can be difficult to navigate at first sight
  • Virtual networking between attendees - they're still working on improving this though!
For a 100% virtual event, Bizzabo is wonderful. We've been able to host multi-day events within Bizzabo for thousands of attendees. Whether we're hosting breakout sessions with smaller attendance in each or a keynote with thousands, it works. It wasn't the best for us when we did an in-person company event. It ended up being an expensive tool for just a website. If we had done a hybrid event, then Bizzabo would've been great! Anytime we can use the virtual components, then I think Bizzabo is the way to go.

We use Bizzabo as a full-service event platform. We use it to market our events, host online content, register our attendees, and for the mobile app.
  • Customer Service: they have a very helpful client services and support team.
  • Making product updates based on needs and feedback
  • The registration process is smooth
  • Sponsor profiles/virtual booths
  • There are not always a lot of adaptabilities
  • Not being able to track who clicks onto a sponsor's website from their partner listing
Bizzabo works great for registration. They have an excellent customer service team. The platform is not very adaptable, but they are making a lot of updates that are improving its virtual event functionality.

I deploy the Agenda widget as the streaming module onto my custom website, and use APIs for the registration module (Replaces Cvent) . This is very useful to bridge multi-part campaigns and events as the multi-site / multi-touchpoints between physical and digital all feed back to Bizzabo; this gives a very good overall management dashboard for data insights and management.
  • Flexible
  • Scalable
  • Cost effective for large scaling
  • An appointment feature with a calendar for the community feature
  • Allowing video player embed code instead of embedding entire widget (limits the styling)
A large hybrid event where physical ticketed entry is required, coupled with digital-only content or platform. The unlimited bandwidth also gives huge savings for large-scale digital events.

I use Bizzabo for large-scale summits and virtual events. These events include internal and external stakeholders and occur a handful of times a year. Some of the features I utilize are landing page builds, registration, schedule, and the actual running of the event day. Bizzabo is not used for internal meetings and events.
  • Manage multiple sessions at once
  • Present in high-quality video
  • Allow for the coordination of more than one event at a time
  • Provide virtual support the day of the event
  • It is difficult for users to toggle between sessions
  • It is not always easy for the user to sign-in
  • The buttons from the admin side can be confusing during a session
Bizzabo is best for large-scale events with 300+ attendees and multiple sessions (even happening simultaneously). It allows you to manage many moving pieces at once and test out features ahead of your event with speakers. The builds are complex for smaller events like webinars and internally hosted functions.

We use Bizzabo for our annual user conference. We use it for registration, the website widgets even though we use our own suite, agenda management, email communications in tandem with pardot and salesforce, and attendee check-in and badges. We use it as our event management platform for in-person events and previously virtual events.
  • Clean UI for users
  • integrations with other tools (SFDC)
  • plug and play widgets and learning. I was able to teach myself the tool relatively quickly
  • promo codes are easy to set up and use
  • Missing add-on tickets like training. this is key and many organizations use add-on ticket types. this needs to be added asap so that it's a seamless and easy process for event pros to set up within their registration instance.
  • We need more dashboards and reporting, or more detail around payments. I feel like this is a bit of a gray area and isn't as easy to dig into as it should be.
  • group pricing functionality could be built out more
  • build a community! bizzabo doesn't seem to value the community of its users or training. I would advise setting up training for users with their CSM or classes. you are kinda just left on your own to figure it out with very little guidance.
Bizzabo has been a great solution for our first-time event. It is encouraging to see many additional platform features and acquisitions over the last few months. We look forward to continuing to expand our footprint with the tool and it's reassuring that they continue to invest in improvements.
